Proactive Planning Before Events To Look Like A Rockstar!

Build Relationships BEFORE Any EventThis month I’m speaking as part of the Launch Your Expertise program. There are around 24 speakers for this event and I know it’s going to be awesome.

In preparation ahead of time for the event, I’m reaching out to the speakers that I don’t know and connecting with them. It’s just a simple Facebook message or email introducing myself and seeing about lining up a time to chat with them.

It’s about getting to know more about them and seeing if there’s any type of synergy there. You never know who might end up being a joint venture partner, referral partner, mastermind partner or even a clients.

I try to do this any time I’m on an event with someone.

You don’t have to be a speaker for a huge event to do this in your business as well.

What about the next time you’re going to be at a trade show or a business mixer. Reach out to the other vendors. See if you can find a list of who’s attending. Reach out to them and let them know you’ll be there.

Be pro-active with building the relationship before the event. You’ll feel like old friends before the vent even happens!
