Want The Fastest Way To Make A Sale? Ask What They Want And Sell It To Them!

We have a great widget. It’s the best widget out there. Everyone needs one of our widgets.

The problem is… we forgot to ask if anyone wanted the widget first.

Yup, it’s that simple. So many times people have had a great idea but there wasn’t enough of an audience for it and the business went under.

You’ve got to know what your customers want to buy. What is their biggest pain? What would a perfect solution look like to them?

The great thing about this is that they will tell you what they want. They will design their perfect widget for you. Then you just have to deliver on what they wanted.

When was the last time you asked your clients what they wanted from your company? How about doing a survey once a quarter just to see what they want.

I did this when designed one of my seminars. I had a ton of ideas of the content I could put into the seminar and it was obviously going to be WAY more than what would fit into a one day program.

So, I put out a survey to my list asking what topics were the most important to them.

Guess what… they responded and gave me all the feedback I could ever want. They told me the topics that most interested them, what other aspects were more important to them (did you know that networking is one of the most important aspects of any event?) they even told me what day of the week would be best for them.

Just imagine, I asked my customers what they wanted and they designed my perfect seminar for me. I didn’t have to try to figure it out. They did the hard part for me. Just by spending a few minutes to create a survey and send it out to them.
See, your prospects and clients know exactly what they want. You just need to listen to them and give it to them. It really isn’t any harder than that.
